Recently
you all must be reading a lot of issues, the judiciary, the Bersih
rally and yesterday one Hindraf rally. And as youth, there is an
opportunity for us to come together to discuss diverse issues that
affect us.
So, Youth for Change (Y4C) together with Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall Youth Section, Pusat Janadaya (EMPOWER), Solidariti Mahasiswa Malaysia (SMM) and National Young Lawyers Committee (NYLC) cordially invite you as the participant of the Preliminary NYCC with the theme “An United Force for Change : Opportunities and Challenges For Youth”.
The following are the details of the Preliminary NYCC:
Date: 2 December, 2007 (Sunday)

Youth
leaders and representatives from various organizations are invited to
attend the Conference to share their thoughts on how the youth groups
can work together, how it could work better and be more inclusive
before, during and byond the coming General Election. The
youth voices and perspectives have always been ignored by the political
parties and authorities whereby they are lack of comprehensive and
wholesome focus of policies, programmes and activities on youth issues.

邀请参与全国青年咨询研讨会——“一股团结的青年改变力量”
来自各团体的青年领袖及代表将受邀请参与这项咨询会议。届时，他们将分享关于在大选前及大选时青年组织如何合作，如何更好的运作，及如何有更大的包容性。
目前，大马面临的问题是大选缺少青年的参与。青年的声音及意见时常被政党所忽略。虽然，大选有造势活动，但青年的课题并没有被关注。
因此，全国青年咨询研讨会是一个平台，让来自不同背景的青年讨论不同的课题，以带来正面，平等及持续性的改变。此外，它也是一个让青年制定国家青年议题及
针对大选提出有策略性的计划。届时也会有不同政党及政府之间的对话。这项研讨会的目标是为了让青年讨论出如何凝聚彼此之间的知识及活动，以促进一个民主，
自由及公平的社会。
